Sorry for the hiatus - most of my news appears now on my blog. But I should say here that my new book The Music Instinct is now out, and reviews will go up on this site shortly. I have discussed this book on several radio programmes, most recently on Radio 4's Start The Week. I will shortly be recording an episode of Private Passions for Radio 3.
